I recently picked up a Weber Summit Charcoal Grill for $900 ... so far I've been able to do anything I have been able to do on other cookers , I am smoking salmon right now at 150 F using a FireBoard with PitViper fan and holding temps fantastic , this is a great system and if I could choose one thing it would be this !

I have always wanted a Hasty-Bake Gourmet 256, but a few months ago I stumbled across the Assassin 48 so now I am rethinking everything. By the time I get around to refurbing the patio I will have changed my mind a few hundred times. But as it stands now, the Assassin 48 comes in as my #1 then Hasty-Bake.
Love seeing all these cookers come up that I've never heard of. Out of all of them, that M1 looks like one I would get the most use out of. Could use charcoal when I wanted to, and then when I have more time to tend the fire, switch to wood.
Traeger Timberline 850 (new - replaces an 18 WSM)
Weber Genesis II S-335 (new - replaces old Spirit)
Weber Performer Deluxe with SnS (last year)
So far this is an ideal set-up for me. The only thing I would consider is if they ever made a 26 inch performer deluxe. That would a SnS would be great.
Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. All-time favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch
My father-in-law passed in June. The week before he died he gave me my last birthday present: a pellet grill cookbook. I don't have a pellet grill, but it most likely will be the next cooker I get.
