Huskee when those sales ended, I started looking at other charcoal brands. That's when I stumbled on B&B briquettes. I converted over to that exclusively. Lump is a different story but I don't use that often.
When I scored the Jealous Devil Max briquettes last May they were on sale at Home Depot for $14.97/20lb bag, <$.75/lb, pretty good deal for a good product which at the time regular price said $25. Regular price now looks to be ~$19 for the 20lber.
Huskee thanks for the info. I think I'll have to keep an eye out for Jealous devil and B&B. Been meaning to try those anyway, and since my score of $3.99 a bag Kingsford is gone, I'm looking to keep my expenses down some.
