    Willy Maybe the manufacturer thinks that if we're not smart enough to open the bag, then we shouldn't be playing with fire.

            But...why should I need one when I don’t need it for birdseed? To rip or cut, that is the question.

          Hope I'm not too late to this conversation. Malcom Reed of Howtobbqright did a little video on this on his TikTok page.
          I discovered this trick a while ago by accident, but still struggle with it.

            Opening a bag of charcoal OR birdseed has NEVER worked out this easily for me.🤬

            Thanks, charcoal bags are one of the most frustrating things to open along with the produce bags at the supermarket.

            Agreed! I inadvertently stumbled upon this trick a few years back. However, at the time I just though it was a poorly tied bag of charcoal, with a flimsy knot or something. Then I saw this and it really made things easier.
