    Welp, I’m days late and several thousand short. But here are a few things got me through 2023. I haven’t done them since, hopefully I will find the inspiration for cooks like these and to share them too!
    -pork belly bahn mi
    -stir fry variations w/tofu
    -peppers and teriyaki chicken
    -bread!!!! F@#%ing bread
    -oxtail ravioli
    -Haupia Cake

    This was a fun one. I used Meathead's recipe for East Carolina vinegar sauce as a springboard, but I used Asian equivalent ingredients and added some lemongrass and fish sauce. I then used that as a mop sauce on a pork butt. It was good as a mop sauce, not too different from the regular recipe, but as a dipping sauce it was AWESOME, Made for some great lettuce wraps.       Do you grow your own Thai chiles? This looks great, btw - however it is in the yearly recap and not the regular SUWYC thread, unless you meant to do that.

      hoovarmin I got them at the farmer's market from a grower who just does peppers. If I ever get my backyard rehabbed, I'll grow my own--and several other kinds of chilis as well.

      I meant to put this here. It's actually from back in July, but I wasn't a member then.
