How about this…….doing twelve, one for each month of the year?
          January -
          February -
          March - ….etc.

        Some favorites

This was just a fun cook, Yakitori wings on the hibachi. I really need to bust that thing out more.

The Soup-Off. We should really do that again, that was fun.

Probably my favorite project this year. Direct heat crispy skin pork belly on the Weber.

Junior wins, barely. More testing is required.

And my favorite thing I cooked all year. Leroy & Lewis style smoked cheeseburgers. I achieved a higher spiritual plane eating this.

You sure have a knack not only for executing great recipes, but for taking cookbook quality pics. I know it's not as easy as simply having a good camera. Plating, posing, angles, lighting, not over-editing, etc. You do great.

Dang Huskee those were some kind words, appreciate it. Problem is I’ll get the big head and ruin my next meal thinking I’ve somehow mastered this thing we call cooking. Fortunately the camera hides a lot of mistakes 😂

Troutman I used Masienda yellow and blue corn masa harina. Made extra thick tortillas and formed the rim around the edge by pinching it up after cooking them. Topped with refried beans made from leftover Rancho Gordo pintos, shrimp, guac, cabbage, cilantro, and El Yucateco green hot sauce.

Fun topic! Looking back this year outdoor cooking was limited due to the terrible weather. It rained every weekend and most weekdays June through October. And it's still raining! My highlight reel is pretty limited. I did throw some stir frys together but most cooking was indoors and pretty basic. Looking at all your amazing pictures is inspiring.
