Spinaker why so many large holes? CeramicChef recommends four 1/8” holes.

These are 1/8" the pot is only a 3/4 qt pot. They are smaller than it looks. LA Pork Butt

    Whaddya say, Spinaker ?

Sez I, if th lil pot is seasoned, salt ain't gonna hurt it, no time soon...

If, over time, ya see any decay of seasonin, jus wash, an reseason it...

      Oh, okay... Attjack

I didn't understand it was to be stored outside...

I guess I could use it for the inside kitchen but I'm now thinking I want to use it on the grill. The salt idea was my girlfriend's.

The smoke pot won't hold seasoning being that it sits in the fire. Mine is all kinds of rusted. It doesn't matter if its non stick or not.

Mr. Bones I'm going to see if this one I use inside now will work outside.

Good test; those jars generally seal quite well...

I say turn it into a chamber pot. Just don't drill holes in it for that use.

Little known fact: one of my relatives, a general in the civil war, was known as pee pot Butler because he was such a jerk to his men they would paint his picture on the bottom of their chamber pots. Yeah, not my proudest family story.

Generals are not known to be pussy cats. My grandfather was an Army Col and I’ve been mad at him all my life for being honest with me.
