For the SNS kettle and the WSM I just use the Pitmaster IQ. If you don't want or need bluetooth, logging, charts or any other bells and whistles It's way cheaper and just as reliable as most others and it comes with the controller and fan in one unit. I use the midrange model, it has a lot settings you can program into it manually, it just doesn't look as cool as the other brands. It's pretty much a dog bowl with a programmable fan but it works.They do make a model with an app but I am not sure how well it works but I have owned the lower and mid priced model and have had no issues. I used to like have all that data but after awhile I found I just don't need it and it for me it actually made it more stressfully trying to dial in everything perfect but that's just me.
