I couldn’t resist the 20% off. I figured it will pair nicely with my Akorn as I can use both if I need the space, which does happen every once in a while. I also added the Littlemore for the same reason. I have a SNS charcoal basket that I am hoping will fit. I thought about adding the thermometer but realized I would never use it.
The new improvements were so well done I thought it was worth the extra money. The used PK seller never replied and it looks like it was sold already.
Now I am on the lookout for one of those $20 covers that will be suitable for garage storage. $81 for a cover struck me as way too much. I summon our bargain king Attjack . I also figured it was light and easy enough to move that the garage to driveway trip wouldn’t be a problem with just 2 wheels.
jfmorris I know we chatted about two kamados with the Akorn and the Primo. However I felt this was well under half of the cost of a new Primo, saved me space, and let me play with a new cooker design. And I still have a kamado! I see no downside here.
I might not be able to cook on it until I can free up some room in the garage (ominous noises). I am planning on opening the box to inspect it for any quality issues until I can find the space. I think it will arrive in a week or so.
