I got the Pit Barrel Junior. The first cook was a 10lb brisket (after trim) and 2 slabs of pork ribs. Turned out great. Do I wish I had got the big barrel, yes. Do I need the big barrel, no. Spent extra money on accessories (upgraded to select package).
Oh, cool thing about the junior basket is the whole thing fits inside a 10 gallon tin can to snuff out coals.Last edited by saneric38; March 30, 2021, 01:11 PM.

saneric38 Glad to hear your cooks turned out great. Always good to hear positive reviews on the barrel cookers. I wound up getting the Oklahoma Joe Bronco. Gonna break her in this weekend.

You know thankfully local Lowes and other retailers here are sold out of the OJB. Otherwise after 4 pages and 120+ posts I would surely have one by now. Too pricey in Amazon and OJ direct keeps me safe. 🙄
