I already know I screwed up, I didn't take any pictures! I did my first cook on my new Pro. Two racks of baby backs. For the last ten years my BBQ/Smoking journey started with a Big Green Egg. Then I went to a Weber Kettle for grilling and a Pit Barrel Cooker. The kettle is great for grilling! and my oh my I enjoyed smoking on this OK Joe! The PBC is a fine cooker and I would recommend it to many. I just wanted more control and my ribs were always tasty but not as tender as I liked. This cooker is very easy to control temps! I put the racks on the grill grate but I will probably hang them next time. I just wanted to try them on the grates. They were wonderful, best I've ever done! I think I'm going to enjoy this! My wife isn't too happy that I have three grills/smokers on the deck....... I may get rid of the PBC if a go a few months without using it. She says she doesn't know anyone that has three grills! I said I would introduce her to some of you! Ha!

Congrats on your first cook with the Bronco! There’s many of us here that have one, and I don’t remember anyone with a Bronco, not singing its praises. You’ll have many more great cooks with it I’m sure.

Thanks for posting...congrats on a good cook
Not too long ago I asked 3 questions about cookers ( 3 Questions about cookers.... - Pitmaster Club (amazingribs.com) )
I have at least 6 and many in the Pit have that and more!
I reviewed that thread with my wife and it was pretty entertaining ...and I can always say "well, at least I don't have 14 or 22 like some of the gang!"

Congrats on your first cook on the Bronco. Justin, The Baby Back Maniac of YouTube must have 10 or 15 grills and I would show that to my wife and I only had a gasser and the kettle. She still said one had to go and I got rid of the gasser. Last year she agreed on adding the Bronco for Father's Day. She was great! Happy wife, happy life.

I'm with you, brother! Just a couple of hours away up I-65, and my in-laws have been in that area since the mid-90s. You're on the right track with that Bronco Pro! I'm finding new things to like about it all the time.

Glad you're learning so quickly how much more versatile the OJB is than some other options. There's a thread from last year where Panhead John instigated a throw down, see if you can find it..........there's some "twists" that show more OJB versatility.
As for the number of cookers on the patio, just direct your bride my way..............I'll make you look REEEEEEEAL good.
Since you're new to the board, don't know if you've learned yet that many members inventory their cookers. Up in the right corner of the individual posts is a pen point looking link that will take you to each members listings.

Volofish yes, I have not used the diffuser when cooking ribs. They usually hang too low and I prefer cooking the whole rack rather than cutting them. Just move them around a bit. The rib rack under the exhaust has a tendency to burn at the end.
