Dear XR 50 Owner
A quick update on the status of your warranty replacement XR-50 per our email sent June 27th:
We continue to wait for the arrival of newly manufactured stock. The good news is that the thermometers are clearing US customs now and we hope to take delivery by Tuesday, July 17th. We will take the remainder of the week to conduct in-house testing and are working hard to get your thermometer(s) on the way to you Monday, July 23rd.
To expedite shipment processing, we will begin generating shipping labels mid-next week. At that time, you will receive an email from us with a USPS tracking number. Please note, this tracking number will not go live until the package leaves our dock the following week. We will send a quick follow-up note at that time letting you know your unit is on the way. I repeat, the tracking number isn’t going to start showing updates until Monday, July 23rd.
No further action is required on your part. A warranty replacement XR-50 is being sent to all existing customers at no charge. You do not need to return your original unit.
