Ordered a red Thermapen MK4 during this sale and it arrived quickly. From all outward appearances this unit was brand spanking new! I got my first chance to try it out over the weekend while cooking some ribs and man! is it fast. I have been using Thermoworks Thermapops for a while now and never saw the need for anything faster but for the money I am throughly impressed with the Thermapen MK4. Comparing the temp differences between my Thermapen MK4 and my thermapop I don't see any differences in accuracy between the two but the mk4 is faster. I'm still planning on buying a few Thermapops for XMAS presents the next time they go in sale because these just work so well.

Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. All-time favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch
The sale was supposed to end yesterday, but I just tried the link, and it is still active! I ordered one, and a couple zip wallets to go with.
