Ultra-processed, bioengineered, lab-grown, and 3D printed foods, oh my! Here's an explainer to clear up the confusion. Hint: not all processed foods are bad.

Meathead also has an article from 2015 about the World Health Organization (WHO)'s warnings on meat. It has come back around recently that good ol' ham is classified as a Class I carcinogen, right along with cigarettes and asbestos. This is an old classification from 10 years ago, yet social media and the news seem to have latched onto this recently as if it's new. And as Meathead's article lays out, this does not mean ham is as dangerous as asbestos, there's much more to the story. Cue Paul Harvey's famous tagline....

I threw a tomato out just like the one in the story. It may be safe but I will admit it grossed me out also.

Those things in there are bitter. Not worth eating, even if they’re safe.
