I absolutely love mine. so much room and so much versatility, plus Weber quality. I went from a Kamado Joe Classic 2 to this beast and couldnt be happier.

Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. So far so good! I did Vortex wings on it for dinner tonight. Smart move on my part. With my wife, almost anything can be forgiven for a good batch of wings. 😎

[QUOTE=Thunder77;n1304939]I am now the proud owner of a 1 year old Weber Summit Kamado. I couldn’t resist. The seller wanted $900 for the WSK, cover, Vortex, extension rack, and lots of charcoal and a chimney. He had listed for a couple of weeks, so I offered him $800. We agreed on $850, and it is now in my backyard. I will now have to employ the "asking forgiveness" techniques that I have learned Over the years. 😬[/QUOTE
Addendum: I am quite pleased with how the first cook came out. The WSK seems like a solid build. I love the hinged lid and stainless steel gasket. I was doing hot and fast yesterday, so I wasn’t paying attention to any Kamado aspects of the grill. But I did notice that it holds
temp really well, and climbs back up quickly after lid is opened and closed. I also really like the dual position charcoal grate, and the Weber gourmet grill grates. Makes it easier using the Vortex! Overall more than happy with the purchase. 😎
