Just saw a listing for a used WSK on Facebook marketplace. Lister says it’s a year old, wants $900. It has Vortex, extension rack and chimney lighter. Does not have gas ignition. What says the Pit? Worth it, or try to talk him down? I saw the Summit kamado listed for $1249 on Amazon.

Before the latest price hikes in 2021,the(E6) listed for $999.00 new with free delivery from Weber. I have the S6 with the table and love it,these are a great Weber product, so in my opinion it's worth $ 900.00 with accessories if it's condition is great but it never hurts to barter for a better price thats half the fun of it.

I think a lot depends on the condition. The Weber Kamados I’ve seen used on FB often appear like they were only used a couple times. Buying used there’s a chance you won’t have any warranty, but historically Weber has often taken care of people anyway. However, I don’t think they have to cover anything for second owners and with their struggles lately there’s probably a chance they’ll start being less generous with warranty claims. That being said, if everything is good now with the grill, it doesn’t have a lot of parts very likely to fail like a pellet grill or gasser does. The only issue I’ve had with my Kamado is the regulator on the starter.
