Sorry to hear about the funeral. Usually the best part in our circle is the post funeral lunch served in the church basement by the church ladies. The usually make what has become known as funeral hot dish which is a riff on tater tot hot dish which is outstanding because these ladies make everything from scratch!

When my brother passed earlier this year it was landeagers and sauerkraut and German potato salad.

Nice recovery and good call on the nacho's Mr. Bones!

Layer 1 - A fairly OCD arrangement of bite-size Tostito's...See how it's already, like, ~500%~ more nacho-ey than Layer 0, pictured above? Mmmmm!!!!

Layer 2 - Approx ~1/2+ 15 oz. jar of Tostitos Salsa Con Queso, medium.
BOGO, plus ain't gotta wait on/stir/futz wit no Velveeta/Rotel, or clean a saucepan / crockpot, after.

Layer 3 - Chopped white onion.
Note: Shoulda nuke-steamed, or sautee'd, they didn't cook down how I envisioned, despite th timeframe. Always learnin...

That looks great. I've been thinkin' about doing something similar with some large flour tortillas. I'm thinkin' I should also add either some pulled pork or pulled beef.

I am sorry for your loss. I was also at a funeral today...

Any thread that says "Nachos" open at your own risk. I told myself "Don't do it man!" but...I ...just...couldn't...resist. Good looking grub amigo! Before the holiday's I was on the keto diet, went off of it so I could eat Christmas cookies and stuff then planned on going back on it. But all of your bean posts posts are making me want to just say heck with it.

Mr. Bones It's all good. I'm gonna stay on a traditional diet but keep sugar consumption down. If all goes well I'll write a book..."The low sugar, high bean diet" LOL.

Nachos are near and dear to my heart. I may have to do a similar write up about the way I do’em.

Hmmm...nachos sound pretty good right about now!
