I’m hoping the seller is legit because that’s $100 less than retail for the SS one. He/she had 100% positive reviews but only 6 total. I used PayPal credit for the transaction so if it’s not legit I’ll have the CC company to help me arbitrate the dispute. This will complement my Anova Culinary SV machine/tub combo so I can cook two foods at different temps simultaneously.

The one possible "problem" might be warrantee issues, if any. Many manufacturers have verbiage in there warrantee terms that says something on the order of, "....if purchased from an authorized dealer." So, if they ask for a proof of purchase doc and you send in an ebay (for instance) receipt from a seller who's not "authorized" they'll have the opportunity to say, "sorry, you're not covered".Comment

Uncle Bob Thanks! Got it registered even though the warranty says it only applies to the original retail purchaser. I don’t anticipate any issues. I’m the kinda guy that pays a bit more for a quality product that hopefully doesn’t need a warranty​​​​​.Comment

Fired it up, connected it to my iPad and it raised 7 qt. of water from 78F to 135F in < 20 min.Comment
