    Best Beef Broth

It goes without saying that the best beef broth would be to roast our own bones. However, being a bit on the lazy side I am looking for the best ever broth out there that comes in a package. It could be powder, paste, or liquid. I am looking for everyone's go to broth other than something homemade. Thanks!

I don’t use it very often but my wife does and she swears by "Better Than Bouillon" which she gets at Costco. I’ve seen it in grocery stores as well. They also both a beef and chicken version.

+1 on "Better than Bouillon"—rated tops by America’s Test Kitchen. We use it regularly.

Another vote for Better Than Bouillon. I use beef, chicken, and veg. All have been awesome.

Yeah, that's good stuff in a pinch.

Kitchen Basics is out go to brand when we can’t make our own. Second on the Better than Bouillon too, but we try to get the low salt version as it can add a lot of salt.

Agreed. There's a lot of salt in the Better than Boullion paste. I didn't know they made a low salt version. Thanks!

The saltiness of BTB is an issue in recipes for me sometimes. I’ve found adding additional water to dilute it helps but doesn’t significantly impact taste. I’ll have to try the Kitchen Basics!
