    Brunswick Stew recipe needed

Anyone have a Brunswick Stew recipe they are willing to share? Fair warning, I rarely follow a recipe exactly, so if that offends you, you have been warned. A lot of the recipe I've found online are short on the bbq part of the meat.

I’m already offended, so I choose not to share.

Assuming you aren't looking for the original recipe(s) which often included squirrel, rabbit +/- opossum. This one doesn't look to bad: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/chic...brunswick-stew

I have an excellent recipe that gets seriously good reviews. I'll find the link for it and share. It's really a combination of two recipes and I always use smoked chicken thigh meat and smoked shoulder.
        Here is the link https://www.thespruce.com/brunswick-...hicken-3052066
I don't use 1.5 cups of bbq sauce. Instead I split the difference and use .75 cup of ketchup and .75 cup of barbecue sauce. I find that since I am using smoked pork that had a rub of MMD on it all that bbq sauce is overpowering. For the bbq sauce I've used Jim's Own and have also used Sweet Baby Ray's. I personally like the Jim's Own a little better because it has a little something extra to it.
I recommend following the rest of the recipe exactly as is, with 2 TBS of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of cayenne. Then you can adjust the recipe next time for less sweet or less heat. It is ridiculously good.

I missed this when it was originally posted, but I love a good Brunswick stew, so this is going on the to do soon list.

What do you use to grind up the bowling balls?

Hulagn1971 I finally got a chance to try this recipe. I thought it was pretty good. I'll definitely do it again sometime.

Good deal! You can play with the amount of brown sugar, cayenne and such to get it the way you want it. Also, some folks don't eat pork (gasp!) So you could just use smoked chicken thighs.
