Pirate Scott's Ghost Pepper appetizers

ok, we grow all the stupid hot peppers. try this recipe. take the ghosts, dice them and then take them OUTSIDE (another story) and saute them in butter. throw out the peppers. use the butter to roast some pecans and peanuts in. at the last minute add some high quality maple syrup. cook down to a thick as hades consistency. pour out on wax paper and lighty salt. Makes the best stupid hot roasted nuts you have ever had. also dry in smoker with fruit wood. Grind the dried peppers up in a DEDICATED PEPERGRINDER OUTSIDE (trust me) and then use it in rubs. Ghost pepper and mango ice cream is also great!

Thanks for the ideas, they sound great. I use a kettle as my Smoker, not sure I can dry them in that, how long at what temp? My Father has an Electric Smoker that may be a better option.

I usually use a Gasser, my dad uses a WSM a lot for his peppers, I'll ask him.
