My local grocery store here in Iowa has started carrying these Texas snack chips. I don't recall seeing them posted here before, but thought others in the Pit might be interested.
They actually run the snacks through a smoker as part of the production process. The corn chips and potato chips both have a sweetness from the seasoning, plus the smoke from the smoker. A great BBQ chip, but with a flavor profile similar to other chips. The cheese puffs, however, are unlike anything I've tasted before. The smoke is way heavier than the other chips, but they still aren't oversmoked or bitter. The wife and I both find them highly addictive.
The website says they have a tortilla chip too, but these are the only ones I've found locally.
