That's one of my faves, too, along with Trader Joe's Movie Theater Popcorn. I'm sensing a trend here...

Aldi microwave butter popcorn is pretty good without calorie overload.

I've steered away from the microwave stuff. Coworkers are always popping.

I'll have to check that out, apparently on aisle 21.

This is miniature white popcorn and I like it better than yellow popcorn.

It’s dead easy … and a lot easier to just pop it yourself. All you need is a good size pot/pan (several qts. With a lid), some good popcorn (I’m fond of Orville Redinbocker’s (sp?)), some oil, salt, and maybe a bit of seasoning.

I use a silly Star Wars mnemonic to remember the corn-to-oil ratio: “C3PO” (corn 3 and a pair of oils) … so 3 TBSP corn to 2 TBSP oil.

Normally I use plain veggie oil with plain salt. For a treat, I might use olive oil, salt, and maybe a little Old Bay or even Zatarain’s seasoning.

Any way you do it, it’s better (and cheaper) than the stuff in a bag.

Does one have to clean the pan? Less dishes to clean excites my taste buds enough to make up the difference.
