    Treat for the neighborhood kids

Made marshmallows for the kids in the neighborhood. We are planning some driveway cook outs this summer, I am going to try and make the graham crackers as well for them to do s’mores over the base of a 22 wsm. I’m happy with results.

That's great. Now all you have to do is make the chocolate bars.

I have it ready if I decide. I’m trying to stay happy with marshmallows for now, but, not great at keeping it easy, when there are memories to be made. Lol!

Looks great! My mom used to make marshmallows. She’d also make mint ones that were great in hot chocolate.

I was already thinking peppermint for Christmas, and various others, also booze in them for an adult hot chocolate. It’s a pretty sticky mess to clean up .

A lot of sugar, some plain gelatin, and various other ingredients, a good thermometer..

We have a friend who is a master choclatier. We were at his house for dinner once and he shared some fresh marshmallows he had just made that day. It was a very good evening! I'm thinking I may need to see how I can arrange some lessons from him.

You're right, Richard. Homemade marshmallows are a special memory that I'm sure those kids will cherish.
