Weber Smokey Joe - Mayo - Salmon Out The Park Success!!!!!

1 hour dry brine with Kosher. Healthy dose of Mayo and black pepper. Thicker piece was cooked indirectly with some apple wood chips, then directly darkened, then indirectly to get to 140-ish

    Thinner piece was quickly grilled.

Pics to come, they are on the phone.

Nice! I'll have to try the mayo trick.

I got crazy with the tongs, hence the missing chunk.

I just figured that fork in the foreground had something to do with it (chef's privilege ya know 😎).

Nicely done. I had similar success tonight - I'll be looking to try it on a few other recipes

Looks great, Jerod Broussard . My husband would be all over that salmon.

I mix garlic powder, chipotle powder, dijon mustard and lime juice with mayo when I spread it on bluefish. Might have to try that with salmon. Thanks.

That is a fine looking cook! I love the fact that you were able to keep it all in one piece. It made for a fantastic photo.

That salmon is looking so fresh! I'm gonna have to try mayo on mine the next time.

I need to make one clarification; pretty much the only time I buy salmon at Walmart is when it has the yellow tag on sale. The yellow tags come out enough to satisfy my hankering.
