Works for me. 100 would be about right for two meals for me. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Not familiar with them as they are from Massachusetts and we get ours from a local Maryland or Virginia dock. (We do live directly on the Chincoteague Bay which we share with Virginia.. However I did check water quality records from where they grow them and the water quality is excellent. As you know oysters from different waters will have difference characteristics but I think you chose well. Oysters per person is a whole other matter. Depending on size I would venture about 8 to a dozen per person to be safe but I know many of my family and friends might only be satisfied with a couple dozen each. (Me included ๐Ÿ˜‹)
    Have fun and enjoy.

Salt Run Bayou inside Anastasia State Park used to have lots of oysters! We would drive on the beach to โ€œBlow Holeโ€ surf spot and drag a trash can over the dune to the bayou to fill with oysters. Shuck them on the hood of the car, rinse in the Atlantic Ocean, slap on a saltine and a dab of hot sauce !
Paired with a Miller High Life. Those were the days! I think thatโ€™s less than an hour south of you! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿฆช ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿบ

      Im around Meyerland.

I've had Maryland oysters when I was in Boston.
      They were ok.

I'm real biased though. A friend of my grandpas in Beaumont had oyster boats. Got to ride on them, as a kid, and eat oysters shucked as soon as they were out of the water. To me, anything that's not a salty Gulf Coast oyster doesn't taste right. But I bet these are good.

Mmmm, char-grilled oysters with herb butter and Parmesan. Next time I go back to La. it is on my list of things to eat at
      Felix's Oyster Bar.

Plymouth and Duxbury oysters are very tasty, so much more so than what we get locally down here in FL. It's one of the things I miss about the northeast...that and lobster.
