    Couldn’t Pass This Up.

Hit up one of my local grocery stores that happen to have a very good seafood dept. Note, I was going there for wings, and saw this sign posted on the entrance door. WHAT??? You kidding me. Ain’t passing this one up.
$28 off regular price. Sooo, naturally I had to stock up on some. King Crab Legs on sale for $19.99lb. I will probably go back and get some more. Just to have. Used a dollar bill for size comparison. Well the only bill I had in my wallet. Think I done good.

My all time most favorite seafood. My last meal wish is a pile of fatty brisket point topped with an obscene amount of king crab. Nice score!

Gotta admit it'd be pretty tough to pass up any food with a Benjamin on top.

That’s a helluva good deal Steve! Wish they’d go on sale around here. I remember last year Costco had king crab legs for sale at about $68. a pound!

John they had them at Rose’s for I believe $30/pound. Still not as good as $20 but not too bad.

Steve, I’m pretty sure those were snow crab Rose’s had. I remember looking to see if they had king crab and didn’t see any. But hell, I’ve drank since then so I could be wrong.

I love Alaskan King Crab legs! I’d like to get some soon and have a question for you Kathryn, or anyone else here. What’s the best way to freeze them? I tried once with my vacuum sealer….that didn’t work. 🙄 The little points all over the legs kept puncturing holes in the bag, even tried double bagging em. Anyone have a better way?

Panhead John The ones around here are already precooked and frozen, so I just use the plastic bag they come in at the seafood dp. They may get some frost on them but it will melt off pretty quickly and won’t affect the meat itself.
