    Recreating Rubs You See

    Anyone out there like puzzles? I was watching an old episode of DDD the other day and saw Smoque BBQ out of Chicago on there. Best brisket outside of Texas to me. I noticed they went over the 13 parts of the rub, mentioning 7 parts by name. Of course, I am trying to figure out some of the other 6 could be and thought I would put it out there for some of my BBQ aficionados on what they thought some of the other spices were. I took a screenshot and numbered all of the containers, labeling what I could pick up from the episode and guessing on others. Would love some input on what you think! Thanks!

    Here's what I think some of them are (I put a * next to the ones I think I know from the episode)

    1. Granulated garlic - maybe Lawry's Seasoning Salt or Granulated Brown Sugar (that would be way sweet though) - he dumped that whole bag

    2. Kosher Salt

    3. Coriander *

    4. Ginger *

    5. Coarse Black Pepper

    6. Sweet Paprika

    7. Ground Mustard or Onion Powder

    8. Fine ground pepper (it looks so much like #5)

    9. Ground cloves *

    10. Lemon Pepper *

    11. Smoked Paprika

    12. Chili Powder (coffee?)

    13. Citric Acid *
