Heath Riles Apple rub: opinions reviews?

Hello folks,

I’m considering using Heath Riles Apple rub on my next St. Louis rib cook, instead of Meat Church Holy Gospel.
Has anyone here used this rub? Any reviews or experiences? How might you think these rubs compare, other than the apple flavor?

I about had enough of Heath Riles on my YouTube commercial feed. Didn't realize he had some rubs.

You ever use Sweet Preacher? It has a little heat. I mixed 50/50 with THE BBQ RUB on 3 racks of SLC's this week. Didn't want it too hot for the ladies.

Yes HR has a line of rubs & sauces. I’m not familiar with his commercial feed.

Never seen or tasted Sweet Preacher. I’ll have to look it up.

I've been wanting to branch out into his rubs. He certainly has some flavors that many of the others don't.

I’ve tried one of the fruit rubs, but I think it was the cherry or the peach, definitely not the apple. I don’t care for fruit flavors with my proteins, but others who tried it liked it a lot. I’m pretty sure it was also paired with the matching glaze or sauce.

Poor Man's Burnt Ends ain't so cheap anymore. I'm buying that bag of BBQ RUB for my Butt cooks from now on.
