Had a gang over last night and made some sticky ribs to change things up. I purchased a Korean bbq sauce and doctored it up a bit with honey and brown sugar. Wasn't bad but looking for a better rub and sauce. Any suggestions for a purchased sauce or a recipe for a homemade one that you like? Thanks

This recipe is designed for chicken wings but I think it would work just as well on individual ribs. Never tried on the BBQ but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Got this recipe from my sister years ago
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp chili sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ginger powder
Pour over chicken wings (ribs in your case) in greased shallow pan. 375 for 45 minutes stir every 10 min.
I suspect you would need more than 45 minutes to do ribs, could check the blasphemy ribs recipe for timing.
Maybe not ideal but might provide some inspiration. Good Luck

I make a little simple glaze that we like on ribs. In a small saucepan melt a half jar of Smuckers apricot preserves, add about about 2 Tbls honey and just a splash of apple cider vinegar. I like it just like that, my BIL likes a couple of tbls of SweetBaby Rays hickory brown sugar bbq sauce added . Either way it is a thin glaze that adds just a touch of sweet and sour to the richness of the ribs. I haven’t sauced ribs with a commercial sauce in quite a while. As far as rubs I’m pretty happy with MMD.
