    New rubs/seasonings

I recently moved and left a lot behind. I am looking to replenish my stock. Any suggestions on good BBQ seasonings I can purchase through Amazon?

Heaven Made Products are some of my faves, but I don't think they're on Amazon just their own website. Meathead's rubs & sauce are, and so are Max's Black Swan sauces.

If I have to buy commercial, I second or third Meathead’s rubs.

Can’t go wrong with anything, I use Ribnoxious and Chop House Blend the most.

Meatheads rubs are on Amazon and you really should try the Poultry and Beef rubs. The pork rub isn't bad or anything, but it's kinda bland compared to other swine focused rubs I've tried, which is odd since the Poultry and Beef rubs are both exceptionally unique compared to anything I've tried from other vendors.

I'm with you, the pork rub, as Mosca points out, is essetially Memphis Dust, but to me personally it is 3rd place of the three. Red Meat is my fave (steaks, prime rib) and Poultry is my wife's fave, she likes it on steaks & pork chops, and it's great in EVOO to dip bread into. Lotta options beyond the label.

Huskee I like the poultry one on pork and fish as well with great success, also made some croutons with it which were amazing. Gonna have to give it a shot in some olive oil

ItsAllGoneToTheDogs Fish, yes! It, along with Heaven Made Products' "Neau Bay" is our go-to salmon seasoning.

Been doing this meat smoking thang not much more than a year thus far, but have yet to buy a rub, instead mixing them up from the many recipes available on the web, both here and elsewhere. leaving out any salt called for. Most commercial rubs contain salt, and I'm pretty religious about salting/dry brining as a separate step and don't want salt in the rubs anyway, so this works out fine.

[Anyone have any kind of list of commercial salt-free rubs??]

I like to dry brine with kosher salt and add a rub before smoking and the rubs I have used tend to add more additional salt than I like. What are some some favorite packaged rubs with low salt content? I realize I can make my own but like to have options in the pantry. Thanks

Hard to find 'em. Meathead, of anyone, would've made saltless rubs, but they'd be so expensive (salt is cheap, the rest isn't) you'd pretty much price yourself outta the market, plus banking on most of your customers reading the label and understanding the fact that there's no salt and you should dry brine ahead of time, you're begging for difficulty and bad reviews. For those of us who understand this, no big deal.. but we're a very small margin of the rub-buying public.

Huskee I hear that loud and clear. And for me it's fun to mix up rubs and try 'em out. I sure don't feel like I'm missing anything...

I’m returning mostly to SPG… but for ready-made rubs, you can’t go wrong with Code3Spices… who are greatly community oriented… and give back…

Killer Hogs and Heath Riles has every aspect of rub combinations covered…

I think because they seem less salty than the others. I think you're gonna like them
