    Meathead’s Rubs and Sauces

Hopefully, this is in the right place. So I am torn between purchasing Meathead products from here (supporting AR) or from a local guy (supporting local). Which is better?

I imagine all of the money winds up in the same pocket.

If you buy local, you get to support both. I'm pretty sure Meathead has enough business savvy to figure out how to do wholesale pricing and still turn a profit. Or... Meathead isn't a nickname, but actually a character trait.

If you select the buy now from this site it takes you to SNS Grills website. I cannot think of a better group to support than those folks. Quality through and through. Also get your desire to help your local merchant. Either way, you cant go wrong.

If you go local I'm sure you support both. Possibly Meathead gets less though.

Buy local. Support local. Your local store is going to spread the word and exposed the rubs to more people who didn’t know they even existed. Best for your local store and Meathead.

I would buy local if possible just to avoid shipping costs

I would buy local. There are a lot of competing products out there, and stores are more likely to allocate shelf space for products that sell. Plus, people who have never heard of AR might try it, and some of them might even check out the website because they like the sauce and/or rub. Not to mention that you get to enjoy it right away when you buy it locally.

SheilaAnn where are you finding the AR rubs and sauces locally? I haven't seen them up our way yet.

                    Thanks for the guidance y’all!

theroc there is a little shop called BBQLand on Palo Verde and Spring.

latenight71 would most likely know it.

Thanks! Wish that was a bit closer to us. Will keep it in mind next time we're down in Long Beach.

If you are in a situation where you can afford the extra few bucks to buy local then i always say do that. In the long run if your local store makes good sales on the rubs/sauce then they will restock and everyone wins.
