            Hi Jon.

I've never "smoked" pineapple "low/slow". I have however grilled pineapple over direct heat and it was wonderful. I usually just buy a core and cut it crosswise into rings. Then I lightly brushed it with vegetable oil and hit lightly with salt and pepper. After that the rings go directly over the fire until grill marks develop which usually only takes a couple of minutes per side. That's it. I've usually done them for a taco bar. Regardless of the meal I think pineapple tastes really good when cooked in this fashion.

Never smoked, but grilled pineapple is awesome. What's even better? Li Hing Mui powder, get some and it will change how you eat pineapple forever.

                  It's awesome grilled.
Brazilian BBQ restaurants serve it hot off a rotisserie.
Maybe I'll smoke a pineapple this weekend to give it a try with some pork.

Wrap it in bacon... it'll be good even if it's bad!
