I got some red jalapenos at the farmer's market this morning, along with a few green ones that may become Cowboy Candy, or I may let them ripen to a nice red color too. I've got too much going on this week to put the smoke to them, maybe next week if the rain stays away. We'll see how the first batch turns out.

I'm glad this post came back alive. I'm going to smoke some peppers for paprika now, in a couple days. My daughter brought me 3 kinds of paprika from Hungary - now after a bit of research I'm excited about making my own.
