I am planning on making the ham for Thanksgiving and the recipe for the spiced apricot glaze says mix all ingredients together in a small sauce pan but not heating it. Do I apply the glaze as is. Thanks.

Yes. It is a fantastic glaze. I have used it for years, you will not be disappointed! Make sure you follow the recipe and do not apply until close to the end. Sugar burns! Good luck!

Thanks for the response. But just to clarify there is no heating or reducing prior to use? It's a little confusing when directions say to mix in a sauce pan. Thanks again.

Just heat enough to combine. I assume you're talking about Chris Lilly's apricot glaze. I love that stuff. You don't want to get it boiling or caramelizing or anything. Just warm it so it will all blend together evenly.
