I still have leftover CPP in my freezer from a while back, plus, we were prepping for a trip we took this weekend. So I didn’t get in on this one. It was fun watching y’alls cooks!

I liked this, I made a basic pp from some turkey that needed to be used. Was good, and I ate the last of it for breakfast yesterday. Dog liked it too
Mine was pretty basic, using some dishware and techniques from my mom, which was fun and sentimental. I think we should continue this! Doesn't have to be fancy, we all saw that some did rock star crust designs, and some did basic food for dinner. I don't want to step on SheilaAnn's toes, this was a great idea, but where from here? Should we look at basic classic foods, and do our own riff, or do a standard recipe like the PP? So, hmm, quiche, lasagna, certain desserts, chicken and dumplings? Basic stuff we all grew up on, or should we branch out? Julia's Beef Bourguignon, shrimp and grits?, Needs to be stuff we can all access, sure I can go to the Asian market and get chicken feet, but most prob cannot. Can we keep this going?

The first post in this thread was Jan 22. Now on Feb 3, at 6 pages and 78 posts, plus many comments. @SheilaAnn's shebang obviously has legs.
I like @acorgihouse's remarks above. We can all provide input to SA, and await her next directive. Once a month seems about right. She could mix it up a bit: sometimes a recipe, sometimes an ingredient, or region or country.
If only she had some cookbooks to draw from!

Weber Summit Platinum D6
Blue Rhino Razor
Dyna-Glo XL Premium Dual Chamber
Camp Chef Somerset IV along with their Artisan Pizza Oven 90
Anova WiFi
Thermometers
Thermapen Mk4 - ThermaQ High Temp Kit - ThermaQ Meathead Kit - ThermaQ WiFi - ThermoWorks IR-GUN-S - ThermoWorks Signals & Billows - ThermoPop -ThermoWorks ProNeedle - ThermoWorks TimeStick Trio x2 - and a Christopher Kimball timer - NO, I do not work for ThermoWorks...I just like their products.
Other useful bits...
KitchenAid 7-qt Pro Line stand mixer
A Black & Decker food processor that I can't seem to murder
A couple of immersion blenders, one a "consumer" model & the other a "high end" Italian thing. Yes, the Italian one is a bit better, but only marginally
Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus 8-qt + accessories like egg-bite & egg holders
All-Clad pots & pans, along with some cast iron...everything from 7" Skookie pans to 8.5qt Dutch ovens
Weber GBS griddle, pizza stone, and wok
Knives range from Mercer to F. Dick to "You spent how much for one knife? One knife?!" LOL
Well, that looked like a good bit of fun. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play this time as I’m nowhere near a kitchen presently…let alone my own. Regardless, I look forward to the next one…even if I get pulled away for that one as well.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Well I have 4 quarts of chili left still, and about a pint of beans, a couple avocados that needed to be used today but will still probably be okay tomorrow, and Mrs Mosca wanted me to make something with a rotisserary* chicken.
So I used half a Sam’s Club chicken on chicken/mushroom/artichoke/black olive pesto pasta, and I have another half chicken that I could probably make into a pot pie sometime this week. So, maybe?

WSM 22.5", Pitmaster IQ110, Weber 22.5" Kettle with SNS, Weber 14" Smokey Joe.
Alright, I'm a bit late but was early before. This chicken pot pie was absolutely delicious. My wife normally makes it for me during the work week so I treaded lightly. She loved it and was a plus, she didn't have to cook, lol. Jules doesn't really enjoy cooking as it's kinda my thing, like grocery shopping.
Anyways, the dish was DELICIOUS. Filling was a tad thin but very tasty. I used puff pastry which was a first. Top notch. We managed about 3 servings out of it. Will definitely be making this again!

It's a real treat when someone cooks one of my recipes (or close to it) for me. (It doesn't happen very often.) That's when I get to see what it really tastes like without "cook anxiety", as in: did I forget to add the salt (or whatever)? So I can get behind your wife's appreciation for your CPP efforts.
