    Trip to NZ

I am in NZ at the moment so making the most of my stay here. Went fishing for Marlin yesterday but no luck. We had to dress a lamb yesterday and I was elected to roast it on a gas spit Friday. (No wood unfortunately) . I cooked up the heart, liver and kidneys for breakfast with fried tomatoes, bacon and whole grain toast.

Thanks for taking us along on your trip. Sorry you didnt catch anything. I would say I saw some critter in the water. Must have been some sort of porpoise. Looked like it had a tail fluke . NZ is on my bucket list.

Appreciate the post. Great pics. Or at least most of them - heart, liver and kidneys, not so much...

I LOVE Kiwi land. It seems a bit more civilized than the US, though I did see way too many man buns. Whereabouts are you and how many more days do you have left?

Party day. I will start cooking it soon. I added a few branches on top of the burner for a bit of smoke.

I'll take a bite of lamb mate but what I really want to do is go back out on that water with my rod and reel. Been dying to wet a hook.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. That water looks pretty inviting, I'd love to be out there fishing.
