Anyone have a good gyro meat or doner kebab recipe they've tried? Looking to try it in the rotisserie.

I just made some Gyros using Alton Browns recipe, cooking the meat paste like meatloaf in the oven and then slicing and browning on the griddle. It did not tast just like the Gyros I get at the Greek restaurant but it was very good and everybody including the kids loved them. His video shows how to cook it on the rotisserie as well.
(I did grind up some Lamb but probably 25% of the total meat)

SOUS VIDE
INDOOR COOKWARE
There’s a YouTube video where a guy takes thin marinated cuts of pork butt and stacks them on a rotisserie skewer until he has a vertical tube of meat. He then slices it neatly and puts it on the cooker, slicing it as he goes, the outer layers cooking first. You might try looking there for ideas, I saw others I’m thinking of trying myself.

If you're open to lamb souvlaki, this one is great. Well, maybe its not exactly souvaki: http://www.greeneggers.com/index.php...=detail&id=891

Ahhhhh doner kebap! Man, I remember getting some in Austria that was to DIE for. First time I'd heard them called that, absolutely loved it. There was a stand across the street from my hotel in Graz that did them RIGHT.
I'd like to make some, but I don't have a setup that would be practical for it at the moment.
