Everything looks really, really great! Good Job! Basically, I've got the same DO rig (12"), lid lifter, lid stand sitting on Amazon's "Click to Buy Now" list - LOL!

Was your Pizza Stone broken before you put it under the DO, or did that happen when you were using the DO? I'm thinking of using the same setup with my kettle.

Medusa I am assuming it was cracked. It is over 20 years old. I lifted the lid it snapped int four pieces. I would think it should be able to handle 8 coals but I don't know 100%.
