    Smoking Salt

    Has anyone smoked salt? I'm interested in the pan/screen/ etc. used in the process. Thanks.

      Never tried but the Jacobson salt co-branded by Traeger is just wonderful, and I would love to make some.

        I made a pan from aluminum foil. Dead cheap :-)
        Smoke for 6-8 hours, spray with water every now and then (just a fine mist).

          I use an old stainless steel splatter screen I cut the handle off of. I do the same as Henrik and mist it with water every once in a while.
