    Mayo-scented...ink?

I am torn as to if this is clever or utterly ridiculous.

Jennifer Armentrout is a New York Times bestselling horror-romance author. Her latest novel is entitled The Primal of Blood and Bone and involves vampires. Hellman's (yes, the mayonnaise people) have teamed up with the publisher's marketing group to help issue a special edition of the novel.

The special edition will feature ink blended with Hellmann's garlic aioli mayo, called Craven Proof. (The name is reference to what the vampires in the novel are called.)

As I said, either very clever or another sign that we have completely lost our minds.

We have discussed this type of thing previously. Some of these things are just for social media clout and don’t actually exist nationally. If I had to guess, just driving Hellman’s mayo interest is enough to help sales even if the product doesn’t exist.

And you're right....apparently there is a huge Tiktok campaign for it.

The book is a very limited edition according to one article I read, but I can't see buying a book that smells like garlic as much a I like the aroma of roasted garlic. They can keep it.

Ink, yep that’s whats missing in Hellman’s. Some people could screw up a one man rock fight.

I know some fellas like that. Usually looking for a job and have a hardluck story about how they lost their last one. Never their fault.

If this doesn't make sense to you...........you're not the target audience (I'm not either).

Reminds me of an old newspaper axiom: If a headline ends in a question, the answer is a no.
        Mayo-scented...ink? = NO!

They say smell o vision isn't a thing, but I could smell those markers as soon as I saw them.

Why not read a better vampire book (Ann Rice's Vampire Chronicles come to mind) while sniffing a bulb of garlic? Then invest the $$ saved in something more rewarding like, say, shoes?
