Piggy backing at what synodog said. Agree! But then my mind wandered to thinner sauces that are mayo based. Of course, you don’t drink them. That said, I was at a bar once with a buddy and the freak next to us was drinking ranch dressing. I almost hurled on the spot!

I sometimes take little shots of Olive Garden's signature Italian dressing, yum! (I don't *drink* it, just little tastes, it's addicting to me).

There was a place in Tempe that had the thickest ranch dressing I’ve ever had. It was almost cream cheese like. I would tear that stuff up with their bread after the salad. Miss that place. Monti’s La Casa Vieja!

Wait a minute. Somebody needs to double down: drinkable ribs. I can see it now, a RibTini.

TJ Robinson, the olive oil guy, advocates a shot of oil oil every night.

You say RibTini and I imagine a martini with a smoked baby back rib sticking out of the glass.

I read a theory that these gimmicks are more for bringing attention to the overall brand, Lawson, versus generating sales. I don’t know. It seems far more expensive than a nice Internet ad campaign or YouTube video.

          So here's an idea:

Grab a 12 ounce glass and rub a bit of yellow mustard around the rim. Fill with about 10 fl. ounces of drinkable mayonnaise. Add about 1 tablespoon of ketchup and stir to dissolve. In lieu of a little umbrella, stick a hot dog (raw or dirty water) into the glass and "enjoy".

Please don't post any pics or report back here about just how wonderful it was ...

I know many people who hate sour cream but love buttermilk, or love sour cream but hate buttermilk. I love 'em both. Now, if Duke's comes out with a drinkable mayo then I'm at least going to try it. Duke's has twang.

One of the few things I was ADAMANT about when I married my Delicate Northern Flower was that we are a Duke's family.

Yep, PGH_RAM, I'm a left coast Duke's convert myself. I use to buy it online and was pretty happy to discover a local grocer was carrying it.

I hated mayo growing up. When I moved out to California, the woman I married was a Best Foods/Hellman's eater. I got use to it. Fast forward to moving back to the South when I was 37 both my wife and I fell in love with Duke's and have had nothing else in our house (except for Kewpie for Japanese recipes) for the last 30 years.

When I make use of mayo I'll scoop out extra just so I can eat a big dollop.

I'll bet it just hits the spot after mowing the lawn on a hot day.

It's so bad, they should have named it Miracle Whip.

I just had a thought, (third thought this year and it's only December ). Drinkable mayo might pair well with a cheeseburger smoothie.

I learned my lesson with Alabama White Sauce. Just because I love mayo doesn't mean I love everything with mayo in it!

But I love mayo so much maybe I'd try it...
