Husky, I somehow missed by one. Can you move this to the Condiments Discussion sub-channel?

Woops Huskee. I even looked up how to mention someone so you would see it. Then typed the wrong name. Derp.

IdahoJim No worries, "Husky" is a dummy membership, a placeholder, so that no one can use it and pretend to be me. One of me is bad enough.

Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! I guess next time I will reformat the text to make it harder to Google it. acorgihouse, for your prize, I have a packet of McDonalds' Hot Picante Sauce for you. It's only been on my desk a few months. You just need to pay shipping and handling

Well, jalapeño ketchup is my first guess while I muse over better ideas.

Well, that was too easy. I was just surprised how the ingredients for McDonalds Hot Picante Sauce actually sounded good and healthy. High Fructose Corn Syrup was way down on the list.

I don't know. But I always have a mix of mayo, sriracha and lime juice. Not sure I would want to sweeten it up.

That yummy sauce you put on fish tacos? That said, thanks for the idea. I’m making fish tacos tonight!

Ding, Ding! Peach - jalapeño spread!

I like this for my porkbelly glaze.

I encountered the "WTH are these ingredients doing here" about ten years ago when I noticed a packet of KFC "honey" was labeled "honey sauce". Google it. The Colonel would be appalled.

This is easy, I've never even written it down. 1 part mayo, 1/4 part Dijon mustard, as many dashes of hot sauce you like. It's the mustard sauce you dip Stone Crab Claws in. When we are in Stone Crab season, I fill my freezer (my co-op gets them from some local-ish fishermen.) I make it a cup or two at a time, it goes fast in my house.
