    Mumbo wings - add butter?

    I always do wings for super bowl and this time trying Meathead's mumbo recipe. Am a DC native and have been meaning to try making this for years.

    Wondering whether to put the sauce straight on the wings as-is, or mix it with butter the way you would use Frank's to make classic Buffalo sauce.

    Thoughts anyone?

    I would recommend using the butter. Everything is better with butter, right?

    Some butter is better than no butter.
    I typically use 1/4 to1/3 of the recommended butter just because.

      I’d leave it as is and use as a dipping sauce.

        Tried last night with some smoked shrimp as an experiment. 1/2 cup sauce plus 1/4 cup butter, thanks smokin fool for suggesting lower ratio than the 1:1 in Buffalo recipe. Was very happy with result so will probably try same for wings.
