    Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

    Was looking to grill something new this weekend but did not have the energy to do anything elaborate or really time consuming. I tried this recipe I came across on allrecipes.com (https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20...hicken-kabobs/) and I was pretty pleased with it but I plan on experimenting with it next time. I have grilled pineapple for other tropical recipes and have usually been pretty pleased with the results.

    Pretty basic marinade.
    3 tbs soy sauce
    3 tbs brown sugar
    2 tbs sherry
    1 tbs sesame oil
    1/4 tsp ginger
    1/4 tsp garlic powder

    I have Weber’s kabob accessory for the rotisserie but I haven’t used it yet. I might try it out with this recipe.

        My Huli Huli recipe says 6 to 48 hours, current cook will be 24 hour soak.

        Just finished dinner the Huli came out great and the 24 hour soak was no issue.

      I usually kabob meats and veggies/citrus on separate skewers so I can control doneness of each.
      love pineapple chicken!

      Very close marinade recipe that I am currently soaking my chicken thighs in now for Huli Huli chicken tonight on the grill.
