26lbs? That's a beast of a turkey. I think it ate chickens for dinner.

ID:	35256 I have been doing quite a bit of practice for the Thanksgiving turkey with my YS640! Here are some pictures. My first turkey of this series was a 22 lb. beast. It fit (barely) with the roaster pan sitting on the grate above the deflector plate. The rest of them were 14 - 16 lb. average. All came out FANTASTIC!! Most of them were deboned and packaged for the freezer, to be eaten later. I also packaged the bones for making more stock for soups and whatnot. We had our local Dillons/Kroger have a sale on turkeys at $0.88/lb, couldn't pass up good protein for that price. Besides, my wife loves it when I'm out smokin'; it keeps me out of her hair. LOL

It looks absolutely great. I don't understand how you have such great skills and yet can't get you sig line up and going. ;-) Just joking, with skills like that and the ability to post pics you are doing very well.

I really like the way you used the split bottom grate. I mean REALLY like it. Very clever!
