    Chicken Thighs with the Simon and Garfunkle rub

    I cooked a few thighs and tried out the Simon and Garfunkle rub ( I added a bit of garlic powder, can't cook without garlic). They came out great. I crisped up the skin and it was awesome. I love the flavor the rub adds to the chicken. I did it on my gasser, it was easy, 35 min on a low burner, and 30 seconds per side on a high burner.

              I've been using the Simon & Garfunkel Rub on Chicken thighs also. And I typically do them on my Weber Gas Grill. Yesterday I did them on my new Weber Kettle w/SnS. (Sorry, no pics I cooked for a crowd....prolly dreamed it) Anyway, the Weber Kettle and SnS using Dave's method was great! Nice crispy skin!!

                I crisped the skin just like Dave showed. I cooked over a burner turned low, and then put it over a burner turned high. It worked great.

              Looks great! I love the S&G rub. Have even tried to slide some butter under that skin before cooking? It makes for some yummy chicken!

                Great looking thighs! Made some a couple nights back myself. I used ABC's method with the SnS and cheated by using Weber's Kickin' Chicken.
