    I found a duck supplier

Jurglielewicz in Hamburg PA. Four 10 oz legs for $25, plus no doubt the dreaded shipping costs. Anyone here vouch for them?

    Costco sells whole ducks.

That is all I have to say about ducks.

Never seen duck at my Costco either - of course, I don't usually spend a lot of time at the poultry case at Costco, so I could have missed it a few times. But I don't buy chikkin there, usually.

FYI. Costco ducks are in the frozen food cases.

Local IGA carries whole, dead, frozen ducks. About $5/lb.

Ain't no IGA within many, many miles for this boy.

You are obviously in a too up-scale neighborhood for IGA.!!

LOL "Upscale" isn't a description of my area. Sadly, no local IGAs.

D' Artagnan (sp?) sells duck. They are known for high quality and high prices.

I don't even need shipping costs to run from the D'artagnan website.

Interesting. I’ve also bought from a farm in Hamburg, PA. They were excellent. Your guys price is a bit cheaper unless you buy a 30 piece case. Then it’s under $5 per thigh/leg piece. If you like duck it’s definitely worth buying in bulk. And yes shipping is brutal.

Raised cage-free by the Hudson Valley Farm in Ferndale, NY.

Shipping to NJ on the 30 piece is $21. So not too bad. Call it about $5.50 per piece.

I've only ordered online once or twice, when there were spectacular sales - honestly the shipping makes most of them just prohibitive to me. I've shopped it multiple times, kinda hemmed and hawed, but then when I load up and get to the 'cart', I find I just can't pull the trigger most of the time. It's just so danged esspenssive...

Under the "Exotic" tab on their website instead of the rest of the poultry.
