These aren't the biggest chickens, average sized fryers, I guess, and there isn't a ton of meat on the wings. So, I wouldn't count the wings as a full piece when doing my figuring. So, I'd go 3 pieces per person, 6 pieces per bird, so 8 chickens. Maybe you could cut this down by 1, as the wings count for something and not everyone will eat 3 pieces (depends on what else is available to eat to a degree). And, they're pretty reasonably priced and make good leftovers.
We had 12 for Easter. Keep in mind 3 of those were under 16. One was a 13 year old growing boy. The other 2 children did not eat much. I cooked 3 whole chickens and we had 1 left over.
