Brought frozen turkey home from store on Thursday and put it in the fridge to start thawing. Now after the “bad turkey” post I’m concerned that a six day thaw before brining tomorrow is too long/dangerous? Our fridge temp is about 35.

You’ll be fine, especially at 35 degrees. I agree with Jerrod, you might still have some frozen parts in the cavity.

Just checked the 11 bound breast put in to thaw Monday morning. I took the wrapper off last night to dry brine a while and I think that helped speedup the process. Checking this morning it appears to be almost good to go, so tomorrow will not be an issue. Lesson learned here, give it an extra day.
