Mariano’s has Jennie-O Turkey for $.59 per pound with a $25 purchase, or Butterball for $.99 per pound with a $25 purchase. I’ve seen a lot of love for butterball here, but do y’all have an opinion about Jennie-O?

Hey Josh, among the commercial brands I consider Butterball and Jennie-O the same. Both are injected products. I cook both and get the same outcome with turkeys.

I don’t recall ever cooking a Jenny-O. I gravitate toward Butterball, but at that price differential I would go with the Jenny-O and maybe inject with Cajun Butter depending on what the Jenny-O already has in it.
